Algo odd é incomum, estranho ou diferente do esperado. Também pode significar um número que não pode ser dividido por 2 exatamente.

Na maioria das vezes, odd significa 'estranho' na fala do dia a dia: 'That’s odd.' Em matemática, é o oposto de 'even'. Também aparece em expressões como 'odd number', 'odd behavior' ou 'the odd mistake' (alguns erros ocasionais, especialmente no inglês britânico).
