まっすぐではなく斜めになっていること、またははっきり言わず遠回しに表現されていること。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
形式的な場面や専門用語（数学・筋肉・表現など）でよく使い、『oblique comment』は遠回しな発言の意味。日常会話ではあまり使わない。
