Descreve alimentos, especialmente lacticínios, que não contêm gordura ou têm quase nenhuma gordura.

Usado em rótulos alimentares e menus, sobretudo para leite e iogurte. Em inglês britânico, 'skim' ou 'fat-free' são mais comuns. Só se usa para alimentos normalmente gordos.
