اقتراح أو اختيار شخص رسميًا لمنصب أو وظيفة أو جائزة أو دور آخر.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

تُستخدم في سياقات رسمية مثل الانتخابات أو الجوائز أو اللجان: 'nominates someone for president' أو 'nominated for an Oscar'. غالبًا تتبعها 'for' أو 'as'. لا تُستخدم للدعوات الاعتيادية، بل استخدم 'invite'.
