अमेरिकन अंग्रेज़ी में 'newscast' आम है, ब्रिटिश अंग्रेज़ी में 'news bulletin' या 'news programme' कहा जाता है। यह सिर्फ़ टीवी या रेडियो की ख़बरों के लिए है, अख़बार के लिए नहीं। समय के साथ प्रयोग होता है: 'evening newscast'।
