同名同名の人（どうめいのひと）

別の人や物と同じ名前を持つ人や物。特に、誰かの名前から名付けられた場合によく使われます。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
「同名」「同名の人」はあまり日常会話では使われませんが、説明や正式な文章、伝記で使われます。ニックネームには使いません。
Examples
My cousin is my namesake; we both are called John.
いとこは私の**同名の人**で、二人ともジョンと呼ばれています。
She named her daughter after her grandmother, so her child is her grandmother's namesake.
彼女は娘に祖母の名前をつけたので、子供は祖母の**同名**になりました。
