Definition

매우 어둡거나 불투명해서 잘 보이지 않는 상태를 나타냅니다. 예를 들어 안개, 어두운 밤, 탁한 물 등이 해당됩니다.

주로 문학이나 묘사에서 사용되며, 일상 회화에서는 거의 쓰지 않습니다. 'the murk'는 어둠, 'murk of the water'는 탁한 물을 의미합니다.
