「モード」はある物事のやり方や方法を示す、主に専門的・学術的な文脈で使われる言葉です。

日常会話ではほとんど使われず、専門的や学術的文脈で用いられます。'modus operandi'や'modus vivendi'などのフレーズでよく見られます。
