“Mocks” 指以取笑、嘲笑的方式模仿別人，或用言語或行為讓對方顯得可笑。也可指帶有嘲諷目的的模仿。

"Mocks" 多為負面，表示嘲笑、模仿和不尊重，常見於 'mock someone' 'mocks his accent' 這類用法。不要和 'imitate'（中性）或 'parody'（可能幽默）混淆。英式英語中 'mock exams' 是模擬考試，另一個意思。
