“Mocks” 指以取笑、嘲笑的方式模仿别人，或用言语或行为让对方显得可笑。也可以指带有嘲讽目的的模仿。

"Mocks" 多为负面，用于嘲笑、模仿和不尊重，在 'mock someone' 'mocks his accent' 等搭配中常用。不要和 'imitate'（中性） 或 'parody'（可能幽默）混淆。英式英语 'mock exams' 指模拟考试，是另一种意思。
