新聞や雑誌の表紙上部にある、名前やロゴ、情報などを表示する部分。また、船のマストの一番上も指す。

出版・編集分野で主に使われる言葉。マストヘッドはスタッフや連絡先等の情報欄で、「headline（見出し）」とは異なる。航海用語として日常会話にはあまり登場しない。
