ごくわずかな違いがあるときに使う。ほんの少しや、かろうじてという意味。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主にフォーマルまたは中立的な会話で、数字や比較と一緒に使う事が多い。「marginally better」など。大きな違いには使わない。
