Definition

কারও বা কিছুর ভূমিকা নেওয়া বা কল্পনায় কিছু সত্য বলে ভাবা, সাধারণত খেলার ছলে বা কল্পনাবিলাসে।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'make believe' শিশুদের খেলায় বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'pretend' শব্দের মতো হলেও, 'make believe' তে কল্পনার দিকটা বেশি। আনুষ্ঠানিক প্রসঙ্গে সাধারণত ব্যবহৃত হয় না।
