魔導士や魔法使いとは、主に物語やファンタジーの中で魔法の力を使う人たちのことです。

「mages」はゲームやファンタジー小説でよく使われ、「魔法使い」「ウィザード」とほぼ同じ意味があります。日常日本語ではあまり使われません。
