Definition

ルーバーとは、窓やドア、換気口などに取り付ける斜めの羽板で、空気や光を通しながら雨や直射日光を防ぐ役割があります。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に建築やインテリアで使われます。「louvered window」（ルーバー付きの窓）や「air louver」（換気ルーバー）など。ブラインドとは異なり、基本的に角度固定型が多いです。
