失くした迷った困惑した

Definition

物や人が正しい場所にいない、見つからない、またはもはやコントロールできない状態。物理的な物や方向、気持ちにも使われます。

実際に（鍵を失くす、『lost in the city』など）や比喩的（希望を失う、『lost in thought』など）に使います。「missing」とは違い、見つけられる可能性に重点がありません。「get lost」で「どこか行け」という意味にもなります。

I lost my keys yesterday and couldn’t find them.

昨日、私は**失くした**鍵が見つかりませんでした。

The children lost their way in the forest but were found safe.

子供たちは森で**迷った**が、無事に見つけられた。

She felt lost after moving to a new city with no friends.
