यह 'lose' का -ing रूप है। इसका मतलब है किसी चीज़ को संभालकर न रख पाना, या ऐसी स्थिति में होना जहाँ आप जीत नहीं रहे हों।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

यह अक्सर continuous tense में आता है: 'I am losing my keys' कम स्वाभाविक है, लेकिन 'I am losing patience' बहुत आम है। इसका प्रयोग खेल में हारने ('We are losing'), किसी चीज़ के छिनने ('losing money') या समय, उम्मीद, दिलचस्पी जैसी अमूर्त चीज़ों के लिए भी होता है।
