裏地ライニング

Definition

裏地とは、服やバッグ、容器の内側に快適さや保護、装飾のために使われる生地のこと。

ファッション（コートの裏地、バッグの裏地等）や建築（パイプ・容器の内側）で使われる。'silver linings'は比喩的に「悪い中の良い面」という意味で使われる。'lining up'とは意味が異なるので注意。

The linings of my jacket are very soft.
