جُعِلَ أخف وزناً أو أكثر إشراقًا، أو جُعِلَت المواقف أقل جدية.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

يُستخدم حرفيًا ('lightened the box' = جعل الصندوق أخف) أو مجازيًا ('lightened the mood' = جعل الجو أقل توترًا). يمكن أن يعني أيضًا تفتيح لون ('lightened her hair'). غالبًا بصيغة الماضي أو المبني للمجهول.
