Definition

頭を何かの上に置くこと。通常は寝る、リラックスする、または安心するために使います。たいてい横になるか、寝る場所を探す時に使います。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

少し丁寧で優しい表現。"lay your head down to rest"や"a place to lay your head"といったフレーズでよく使う。直訳・比喩（安心探し）両方で使われる。「lie your head」は間違いなので注意。
