Lavar o bañar algo, especialmente de manera poética, formal o literaria. También puede significar que el agua fluye suavemente sobre algo.

Es muy raro y literario; normalmente no se usa en conversación diaria. Aparece en poesía antigua o escritura formal. Hoy se usa 'lavar' en la vida diaria. Puede referirse a que ríos o agua cubren suavemente algo ('las olas laven la orilla').
