Definition
"Lashed" es la forma pasada de "lash". Significa golpear algo con fuerza como con un látigo, o atar algo muy fuerte y seguro con una cuerda u otro material.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Se usa para describir fuerza física fuerte, como vientos, lluvias, cuerdas o látigos. Es común en formas pasivas: "was lashed to" ('fue atado a'). Puede ser literal (golpear) o figurado (el viento azotó los árboles). No confundir con 'eyelash' (pestaña).
