Definition

लामासरी एक मठ या स्थान है जहाँ बौद्ध भिक्षु, विशेष रूप से तिब्बती बौद्ध धर्म में लामाओं, रहते और धर्म का अभ्यास करते हैं।

'लामासरी' शब्द औपचारिक और विशेष रूप से तिब्बती बौद्ध धर्म के लिए प्रयुक्त होता है। आमतौर पर 'बौद्ध मठ' का प्रयोग अधिक सामान्य है। केवल लामा वाले मठों के लिए प्रयोग करें।
