冗談や戯れは、人を笑わせるために言ったりしたりすること。本気ではない、遊び心のある言動。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
‘冗談’や‘戯れ’は文語的で、会話では‘ジョーク’がよく使われます。「in jest」は「冗談で」と訳されます。人を傷つける意図のない、軽いふざけに使われます。
