Definition

吉普车是专为崎岖路面或越野环境而设计的车辆，最初为军事用途开发。现在，“jeep”可以指任何结实的四驱车，也是一种汽车品牌。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Simplified))

英文中“jeeps”既可指Jeep品牌，也泛指所有结实的越野车。日常口语中，很多四驱越野车都会被称为“jeep”，即使不是Jeep品牌。品牌时首字母大写，普通类型时小写。
