Hacer saber algo de manera indirecta; sugerir o dar a entender algo sin decirlo directamente.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Es más formal y menos común que 'hinting', mayormente usado en contextos escritos o formales, seguido frecuentemente de 'that' ('intimating that...'). No se relaciona con 'intimate' (íntimo) ni con 'intimidate' (intimidar).
