대개 사람이나 제도가 너무 엄격하거나 고집스러울 때 부정적으로 사용됩니다. 'inflexible rules', 'inflexible attitude'와 같이 자주 쓰입니다. 'unflexible'는 거의 사용되지 않습니다.
