梗塞（こうそく）
Definition
血流が閉ざされることによって組織が壊死する状態です。心臓の梗塞（心筋梗塞）や脳梗塞などで使われます。

主に医療用語で使われます。特に「心筋梗塞（myocardial infarction）」のような表現に多いです。「感染症」（infection）とは別なので注意。
