凹痕是指被压入或切入表面的空隙或痕迹，也指写作时段落开头的空白。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Simplified))

既可用于描述物体表面的凹痕，也可用于文本缩进。不要和“意图”（intention）混淆。“indentations”是复数，单数用“an indentation”。
