यह ब्रिटिश अभिव्यक्ति बताती है कि कोई चीज़ (जैसे पत्र या पार्सल) डाक द्वारा भेजी गई है और रास्ते में है। अमेरिकी अंग्रेज़ी में इसे 'in the mail' कहते हैं।

मुख्यतः ब्रिटिश अंग्रेज़ी में उपयोग होता है; अमेरिकी अंग्रेज़ी में 'in the mail' कहते हैं। डाक द्वारा भेजी हुई चीज़ों के लिए बोलते हैं, न कि भेजी जाने वाली के लिए। अक्सर डिलीवरी की प्रतीक्षा में बोला जाता है।
