一般的な印象や言われていることと違う、本当の状況を示すときに使う表現。

「実際は」「実は」は誤解を訂正したり、予想と違う事実を伝えるときに使う。文の冒頭や途中でよく使われる。『actually』よりも少し硬い印象。現実世界についてではなく、状況や事実に用いる。
