Makinede bulunan ve döndükçe sıvı veya havayı iten parça, genellikle pompa veya türbinlerde bulunur.

Teknik bir terimdir, genellikle pompa, türbin veya kompresörlerle ilgili kullanılır. Gündelik konuşmada geçmez. 'propeller' (pervane) ile karıştırmayın.
