চূড়ান্ত মূর্খতা বা অত্যন্ত বোকামিপূর্ণ কাজ কিংবা ধারণা বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

'idiocy' সাধারণত কাজ বা ভাবনা সমালোচনার জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়, ব্যক্তিকে উদ্দেশ্য না করাই ভালো। 'act of idiocy' বলতে একটিমাত্র বোকামী কাজ বোঝানো হয়।
