얼어붙다얼음이 끼다

Definition

무엇인가가 매우 추워져서 얼음으로 덮이거나 얼어서 기능을 멈추는 것. 주로 창문, 자동차, 파이프 등에 사용됨.

주로 겨울이나 추운 날씨에 사물에 사용한다. 사람이나 감정에는 쓰지 않는다. 예를 들어 '파이프가 얼어붙다'처럼 쓴다.

The car doors iced up overnight.

밤사이 자동차 문이 **얼어붙었다**.

My windows always ice up in the winter.

겨울에는 내 창문이 항상 **얼어붙는다**.
