Definition
「ハイポ」とは、皮下注射をするための注射器や注射針を指す口語的な言い方です。主に昔の表現やイギリス英語で使われます。

「ハイポ」は現代の医療現場ではほとんど使われず、昔の英国英語やカジュアルな場でしか聞かれません。「give someone a hypo」は「注射を打つ」という意味になります。「hypo-」の接頭辞とは区別してください。
