বর্তমানে এটি বেশিরভাগই ঐতিহাসিক, রোমান্টিক বা পর্যটন প্রসঙ্গে দেখা যায়। পুরনো বা ঐতিহ্যবাহী পরিবহনের প্রতীক হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'put the cart before the horse' এই কথার সঙ্গে এটি যুক্ত নয়।
