Sujetar algo firmemente para no perderlo, o quedarse con algo en vez de deshacerse de ello.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Se usa tanto de forma literal ('aférrate a la barandilla') como figurada ('aferrarse a la esperanza'). Es común de manera informal y puede referirse a objetos, emociones o ideas. No confundir con 'hold on', que suele significar 'esperar'.
