यह एक पुराना या साहित्यिक शब्द है जिसका अर्थ है 'यहाँ' या 'इस स्थान पर'। अब आम तौर पर कविता, प्राचीन ग्रंथों या नाटकीय प्रभाव के लिए उपयोग होता है।

'Hither' एक पुराना शब्द है और आधुनिक बोलचाल में नहीं मिलता, केवल काव्य, नाटक या ऐतिहासिक प्रभाव के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है। अक्सर 'thither' (वहाँ) और 'yon/yonder' (वहाँ दूर) के साथ दिखाई देता है।
