Definition
Acertar ou bater em alguém ou algo utilizando um objeto. Pode ser usado de forma figurada para indicar ser afetado por algo repentinamente.

Pode ser literal ('bater com um pau') ou figurativo ('ser atingido com problemas'). Depois de 'with' vem o objeto causador do impacto. Não significa juntar objetos, mas usar um para acertar no outro.
