Definition

Hints 指協助你發現某事或解決問題的小提示或間接暗示。

正式與非正式場合皆可用。常見用法有“give hints”（給提示）、“drop hints”（暗示）、“look for hints”（找提示）。可能指線索（如遊戲/考試）或含蓄建議。勿與 advice（較直接建議）混淆。

She never asks for help directly, just drops hints.
