Definition

무엇인가(특히 음식)을 더 따뜻하거나 뜨겁게 만드는 것. 상황이 더 긴장되거나 흥미로워지는 의미도 있음.

음식에는 '음식을 데우다', 상황에는 '분위기가 뜨거워지다'처럼 사용. 일상 대화에서 자주 쓰임.

Please heat up the soup before dinner.

저녁 먹기 전에 수프 좀 **데워줘**.
