Definition

누군가에게서 듣거나, 특정한 경로나 방법을 통해 소식을 알게 되는 것.

'Hear through'은 비격식적으로 누군가 또는 소스를 통해 소식을 들었음을 나타낸다(예: 'hear through a friend'). 주로 소식, 소문, 업데이트에 쓰인다. 'hear from'(소식을 받다)와 혼동하지 말 것.

I heard through my sister that you got a new job.

나는 여동생을 통해 네가 새 직장을 **얻었다고 들었어**.

Did you hear through social media about the concert?
