"head off" in Portuguese (PT)

Partir para um local, ou evitar que algo aconteça ou que alguém vá a um sítio, bloqueando ou interceptando.

'Head off' pode significar sair em direção a um local ('Vou já partir') ou prevenir algo ('Temos de evitar problemas'). Informal. Não confundir com 'head out' (sair) ou 'head up' (liderar). Bastante usado em 'head off a crise'.
