Definition

বিভিন্ন সুর বা স্বর একসাথে সুন্দরভাবে মিলিয়ে যে সংগীত তৈরি হয়, সেটিই সঙ্গতি। একাধিক সঙ্গতি বোঝাতে 'সঙ্গতিরা' বলা হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

মূলত সংগীতে, গানে বা যন্ত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'ভোকাল harmonies', 'three-part harmonies' ইত্যাদিতে পাওয়া যায়। 'মেলোডি' (মূল সুর) থেকে আলাদা। দৈনন্দিন কথাবার্তায় খুব কমই রূপক অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
