Definition

古い文学や詩で使われる、「偶然」や「運命」という意味の言葉です。現代では使われません。

詩や古典文学など、歴史的な文脈でしか見かけません。「haply」「happy」などの語源でもあります。

In old stories, hap meant luck or chance.

昔話では、**運**は幸運や偶然の意味でした。
