何かを買う時、特に値段についてより良い条件を求めて交渉したり、値切ったりすること。主に市場や交渉時に使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に口語的で、値段や細かい条件についてのやり取りに使います。「haggle over the price」は値段交渉、「haggle over details」は細部にこだわって交渉する場面に使われます。ビジネスの正式な交渉には合いません。
