Definition

혈종은 혈관 밖으로 혈액이 고여 피부 아래나 몸 안에 혹이나 멍처럼 나타나는 것을 말합니다. 주로 외상에 의해 생깁니다.

의학 용어로 주로 병원이나 전문적인 상황에서 사용합니다. ‘멍’(단순 타박상)과 달리 내부 깊은 부위 혈액 고임도 포함될 수 있습니다.
