हीमाटोमा रक्त वाहिकाओं के बाहर रक्त के जमा होने को कहते हैं, जो आम तौर पर चोट के कारण त्वचा के नीचे या शरीर के भीतर सूजन या नीला पड़ाव के रूप में दिखाई देता है।

'हीमाटोमा' चिकित्सा का औपचारिक शब्द है। इसका प्रयोग आम तौर पर अस्पताल या डॉक्टरी बातचीत में होता है। यह मामूली 'नील' (bruise) से अलग है और कभी-कभी गंभीर भी हो सकता है।
