Definition
グループや活動、状況で全員が従うべき基本的な決まりやルール。最初に公平や円滑な進行のために決めることが多い。

複数のルールの場合、“ground rules”と複数形が使われることが多いです。会議や授業、スポーツ、グループ活動などでよく使われ、詳しい手順というより絶対に守るべき約束の意味です。法律や公式な規則ほど硬くありません。
