Definition
Extender la mano rápidamente para intentar tomar algo, generalmente con la mano. Se usa a menudo cuando alguien reacciona de forma repentina o urgente.

Es principalmente informal y usado en el habla cotidiana. Se usa con objetos a los que se intenta llegar rápido ('grab for the phone', 'grab for help'). Implica urgencia o instinto, a diferencia de 'reach for', que es más neutral. No es igual que 'grab', que significa tomar, no sólo intentar.
